Expressions of interest sought – DA40NG ferry pilots

SFC members are invited to apply for the role of ferry pilot on behalf of Airflite Pty Ltd and the Australian Air Force Cadets.

The information provided below is done so as a service to members of Schofields Flying Club Limited (SFC). SFC is not involved in this initiative, and is unable to provide further information on it. Interested pilots should make contact with Airflite Pty Ltd directly and assess the benefits and risks associated with this initiative themselves.

Airflite Pty Ltd (www.airflite.com.au) is contracted to provide aircraft and support services, including aircraft maintenance, for eight Cadet Branch – Air Force (CB-AF) Diamond Aircraft DA40 NG aircraft that operate out of the three key hub airfields: RAAF Base Richmond, New South Wales (3 aircraft), RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland (3 aircraft) and RAAF Base Point Cook, Victoria (2 aircraft).

The aircraft are used by CB-AF within its Powered Aircraft Capability (PAC) program to provide an introductory flying experience and pilot training for Australian Air Force Cadets.

Airflite is seeking Expression of Interest from volunteer private or commercial pilot licenced pilots per CASR Part 66 that will be incorporated on a panel of available pilots for use by Airflite, as required, to ferry PAC DA40NG aircraft between RAAF base Richmond and Bankstown.

Experience on the DA40 is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
